MANAGE STARTUP

Most PCs have a slow startup when booted, and even afterwards are slow in processing. This is because of programs which start with Windows and continue running in the background. Mange Startup feature solves this issue.

The Startup Manager lets you view and select which programs start with your PC. You can then disable programs from starting automatically at boot by clicking on the arrow beside the program. Toggling the checked or unchecked status will enable or disable the programs from starting at boot.

The Startup manager also lets you view other settings of these startup programs:

Name

The name of the program helps you identify whether this program is known or otherwise

File Location

The will shows the installation location of the program. It is recommended that programs with values relating to the WINDOWS folder not be tampered with as they are operating system files needed for the correct startup of the system.

Key

This shows the location of the program key in the registry.

The Startup Manager should be used with caution because if system programs are disabled, the computer may not boot, or may crash.
